Cookie Policy

1) What We Use Cookies For
ClariFi uses cookies and similar technologies for core service operation, security, and optional analytics/marketing measurement. Optional categories stay off until you consent.
2) Cookie Categories
- Essential: required for login, security, and basic platform functionality.
- Functional: helps remember preferences and user-selected settings.
- Analytics: helps us understand service usage (for example Hotjar when enabled and consented).
- Marketing: supports campaign measurement and attribution, including Meta Pixel / Conversions API identifiers when you opt in.
3) Technologies we may use (code-accurate)
| Name / provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session / auth cookies (ClariFi) | Keep you signed in and protect sessions | Essential | Session / short-lived |
| clarifi_cookie_consent | Stores your cookie preference choices | Essential | Up to 1 year |
| Hotjar (when enabled) | Product analytics / session insights | Analytics | Per Hotjar configuration |
| Meta Pixel (_fbp, related) | Advertising measurement after marketing consent | Marketing | Up to ~90 days (Meta) |
| fbclid / fbc (URL / first-party) | Attribution from Meta ads clicks | Marketing | Short-lived / campaign |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Bot protection on forms | Essential / security | Short-lived |
4) Meta advertising measurement
When marketing consent is given and Meta measurement is enabled, ClariFi may use Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure approved events (for example PageView, Lead, Purchase of a ClariFi fee). Matching may use hashed contact fields and click identifiers (fbclid, fbc, fbp). MSME financial records, diagnostics, decision cards, and lender packs are never sent to Meta.
Rejecting marketing cookies or withdrawing consent stops future non-essential Meta browser tracking. Server-side conversion events also respect ClariFi activation gates and kill switches.
5) Consent Controls
You can Accept all, Reject optional, or save granular preferences (analytics / marketing / functional). Marketing is never pre-ticked. Use the persistent Cookie settings control on the site to reopen preferences anytime.
6) Managing Cookies
Update preferences via Cookie settings, or clear site data in your browser. Browser-level controls may affect site functionality.
